Rangoli design on MDF board

This is super easy and simple art. It’s perfect for gifting and decorative during festival time. I got this design made out from a mdf board. I drew this design in a paper and got the cut on board made from a carpenter. I then applied 2 coats of white paint on both sides of the board and let it dry for a day. I selected the kundan stones and small mirrors to be pasted for the picture.

I first painted the board with my deisred colors (yellow, blue, red, green). In my other posts, I would have mentioned that yellow makes the entire art look bright and rich. Its my favorite color for painting. I used different colors of 3d glitters to paste the stones.  I took silver and gold 3d glitters for the outline of the board. I let it dry for a day in the sun. I then applied 3 coats of clear varnish. I used different sizes of brush for varnish because they are some small places to apply them. Once its dry I turned it over and applied varnish on the other side as well, same 3 coats. After its dry, its all ready to use. I placed a tea candle in the middle and it looked lovely. You can draw your desired design and get it made from a carpenter. Enjoy....
