4. White note card
5. Colour pencils
6. Paper trimmer
7. Tim Holtz scissors

9. Tacky glue

How to make:

2. I coloured the images using colour pencils and fuzzy cut them.

3. I took a 6 by 6 white card stock and hand drew a wavy line across the paper for sand and water. I the card along the line.

4.  I used ink blending tools make the sand and sea. I used cloud stencils for create the clouds and added a sun. I square die cut the entire scene to fit into a 5  by 5 top fold note card. I used some painter's tape to hold both the pieces together while die cutting. (These pieces just fit like a puzzle)

5.  I stamped the sentiment to the card using jet black ink. I later added the scene to a top fold note card and placed the images to see how they fit.

Christmas in July card

Hi everyone,

I am making a card using digi from Le Anns World 101 for Progressive challenge #10 in Facebook FB GROUP.

I am using  image called fun with stocking (LINK)and its a gorgeous image to work with. Easy to fuzzy cut as well. I have made 3 cards using this image.

For the first card, I printed out the image and coloured with pencils. I fuzzy cut her out and added to a pattern paper (ink blending and stenciling) I made. I added the image so half of her is hanging of the pattern paper and pasted the entire piece to a light yellow top fold note card. I added some liquid pearls to finish the card.

For the second card, I coloured with pencils and fuzzy cut the image. For the background, I used some rainbow cardstock and corrugated paper (leftovers from another project). I added the image on the background. Its a side fold card.

For the third card, I made it a mirror image and then coloured, fuzzy cut the image and for the background, I used some pattern paper which I added to the side of the card. I will add my sentiment to the in side of the card as my focus is only on the image.

Rainbow colour cards

Hi everyone,

Today's project will be 2 cards using rainbow colours. I am making two cards with this theme and also participating in https://aaacards.blogspot.com/ blog challenge.

For the first card, I used distress inks to make the rainbow pattern. Once dry, I trimmed it down to 2 pieces with an inch each. I used some corrugated paper for this card. I added the rainbow pattern on either side of the paper and added a sentiment to the center. To finish the card, I added some mdf embellishments.

For the second card, I used Altenew arabesque medallion stamp and coloured the image with pencils. I cut it down to colured piece to four (its a huge stamp) and used two of the pieces on corners. I added these pieces using double sided foam tape to give a raised look. I stamped the sentiment diagonally and added some heart embellishments to finish the card.

I hope you all liked the cards. Please give some love by following my blog, facebook page and instagram.

CAS succulent card

Hello there,

Today, I am making a card using succulent stamp from Craftyscrappers. Its a CAS card where I used some distress spray and mild stenciling for the background.

Materials used:
1. Craftyscrappers stamp - I'm stuck on you
2. Colour pencils
3. White note card
4. Distress ink spray
5. Stencils
6. Altenew inks

How did I do this:
1. I stamped some succulent images from the stamp set along with the sentient onto my white card stock and coloured them using colour pencils. After colouring the, I fuzzy cut them and kept them aside.

2. I took a 6x6 card (I trimmed it down later - easy to work when card is a little big) and sprayed some distress spray (any spray can be used). I let it dry for a while. After it has completely dried, I did some mild stenciling on 2 sides of the card.

3. I started placing my images on the card to see how I liked them before pasting them together.
Once I was happy with the placement, I adhered all the pieces together.

4. Once the card was ready, I trimmed the edges and added this to a top fold note card.

I hope you all liked my card. I am entering this card for contest by handmadelove

Tips:
a. Let the ink dry completely before colouring
b. Allow the spray to dry, do not use heat gun
c. Use little colour ink for stenciling (for such cards)
d. Always place the images and try positioning them how you like it before pasting them together. Click pictures in phone so you have more options and its easy to decide.

Embossed background with dies

Hello everyone,

I am very happy to be making card for Le Anns World 101. I have a new technique here today which is embossed background using dies. I used Flutterby Fairy (link) a beautiful image with a butterfly theme. I love this image so much I finished making the card in 20 mins.

I wanted a butterfly embossed background but I didn't have any such embossing folders. So I die cut butterflies (paper smooches die) and used them as the background. It gives a raised look similar to embossed background.

I coloured and fuzzy cut the image and i cut the bugs separately and pasted them to the background.

For the sentiment I used Dream die cut (peekaboo designs). I cut it with silver cardstock and which foam to give a raised look. To finish the card I added some liquid pearls and pasted them to a plaid pattern paper and to a top fold note card.

I hope you all enjoyed it.

2 cards with one image

Hello,

I have made 2 cards using one image from Le Ann's World 101. Its called Daisy and its a Christmas theme.

The first card is plain and simple. I coloured out the image and added it to a pattern paper and turned it into a card.

For my second card, I tried something different.

I coloured the image and fuzzy cut it.
I used brick stencils to create a fireplace and I cut it out accordingly. Next, I drew an image of the flames and coloured it and added it to the center.
I embossed the background to make it look like a wallpaper and added a pattern paper as a carpet.
I die cut a couple of snowflakes from silver card stock to add as embellishments.
Finally, to finish I added a sentiment.

Envelope card tutorial

Hi everyone,

I have a different card project today as a part of Craftyscrappers DT. Its a envelope card tutorial. Generally its a card in an envelope but I have turned an envelope into a card. Its a fun project and many ways to get creative with this. But I am keeping it plain and simple for this tutorial.

Materials required:

1. Craftyscrappers
    a. Stamp - What's up duck
    b. Stencil - Create a scene
2. White card stock -  2nos
3. Black card stock
4. Distress inks
5. Ink blending tool
6. Biyano colour pencils
7. Ivory colour ribbon
8. Altenew inks - Jet black, buttercream
9. Misti stamping tool
10. Martha Stewart scoreboard
11. Tacky glue / white glue
12. Paper trimmer
13. Tim Holtz scissors

How to make it:

1. Making an envelope - To make an envelope, I took a card stock measuring 10" x 10".
I placed it on my scoreboard an with the help of envelope template (which also has guide to make an envelope) I scored along the desired measurements to make an envelope.

2. Cut the marked areas to create a triangle. Creating this small triangle helps the help close easily. The inside of the card measures 6.5" x 6.5"

3. Stamping - I used Misti stamping tool for stamping (makes it very easy if I miss some areas while stamping). I used Altenew Jet black ink. Any black ink works. I have used What's up duck stamps. Its a very beautiful stamp set with ducks and works for any weather themed card.

4. Colouring - I love colouring my images with colour pencils. I used Biyano colour pencils for colourng my stamped images. I fuzzy cut them using Tim Holtz scissors.

5. To make the duck look like its sitting on water, I created a small slit in the water image and inserted my duck into the slit.

6. Creating a scene - I used create a scene stencil from craftyscrappers to create clouds and land. I used distress oxide inks and distress inks for stenciling.

7. I adhered all the stamped pieces onto my stenciled background. I added this onto a back card stock (if you do not have a black card stock, take a white card piece and apply black ink onto the edges). Add this piece to the center of the envelope.

8. I added ribbon on the back of the card. I stamped some images from the stamp set on the front of the card. I have left the sides of the card empty to write personal message. Since I focused more on the tutorial, I left the card front simple. Alternatively, the same can be decorated using pattern papers both on the out and in of the card.

I hope this tutorial was helpful and useful.
