Card for best friend

Hi there,

I have 2 cards today using stamps from Gina K deisgns. Here, I used Through thick and thin - mini stamp.

I did some simple colouring using pencils and fuzzy cut them out. I did two different backgrounds for the card. For the first card, I did very mild inking for the background.

For the second card, I used wood stamp for the background.

To finish the cards, I added them to a note card and some gem stones.

Hope you all liked the card. Thanks for stopping by

Sentimental tag

Hello there,

I am here with a card for The Paper Shelter (TPS) challenge #380. TPS is a stamp company which provides digital stamps, accessories, pattern paper and much more.

We also have challenge blog where every week we have a different theme for the challenge and these are showcased by 2 teams. And for this week our challenge is "SENTIMENTAL". While entering the challenge, please remember to stick to the theme. Here I have used Trust me, its delicious image to make this tag.

Here I took a sentiment which is inspirational for those who follow their dreams. This image is so cute and shows that he is following his dreams to become a chef.

The base is a tag chiplet and I first stenciled the background using dye inks from Lawn fawn. I let it dry and the, added some embossing paste and heat set it.

I just dabbed some perfect pearls  (it looks like the kitchen is a little messy :)) lol).

I added the lace to the bottom of the tag using tacky glue. Then I used foam tape to add the image to the tag base.

I love adding some handmade flowers to my projects off late, so I added some flowers, leaves and pollens to the top of the tag. Below the flowers, I added the sentiment and a little heart to finish the tag.

I hope you all liked my project. Do check out our website for more images and also participate in our weekly challenge and get a chance to win great prizes (link for both are available at the beginning of the post).

Mermaid card

Hello everyone,

I am here with my inspiration post for Le Anns World 101. Instead of using just one image for this post I have used Vivian. This is a super cute mermaid image (my favorite image). I used Craftyscrappers new premium dye ink for the background along with chippies from Mudra.

I coloured the image and and added it to the card base along with the chippies and used the sentiment Sea Adventure from the same chippies set. To finish the card, I added glossy accents to her tail and small dots like bubbles.

I hope you liked the card.

Follow and blog for more posts.

Make a mark floral card

Hello,

I am back with another post for Addicted to stamps and more challenge. This is challenge #337 - Make your mark. Make your mark basically means that your entry MUST contain the use of anything that can make a mark - Stampin' Write, Copics, Promarkers, Painting, Chalks, Water colours, Sponges, Stencils, Masks etc etc

To make this card I used dies and critter sheets from Die cuts and more. The die I used is called Moroccan tile envelope panel and critter sheet is Ready to colour Wild Roses

I used Spectrum noir markers to colour the flowers. I kept the leaves plain without colours.

I added the die cut to the card base and then added the flowers and leaves to the card. I finished the card with a sentiment and some gem stones.

I hope you all liked my card. Please check out our challenge and give you love to other DT members.

April DT kit and write up

Hello Crafters,

This is DT member Priyadarshini Ramakrishnan and I would like to share a little about April kit and my journey here.

This month we are celebrating our 6th birthday and it’s a huge milestone for Craftyscrappers. Konica Das has worked very hard to achieve this success but not without the help of her team and fellow crafters who love and cherish the products. Products produced here are very versatile and a very unique collection of stamps. Konica is a very generous and the sweetest person I have come across. She knows how to care, pamper and encourage her team.

Since its birthday month, I am showered with this amazing kit that has everything a beginner/advanced crafter requires. The kit has stamps, ink pads, stencils, pastes, pattern paper, cardstock with designer sheets and more.
The designer sheets and pattern paper can be used to make a gift box or a mini bag with a stamped image.

Contents:
·         Stamps – Its time to party & Craftyscrappers turned 6
·         Ink pads – Apple, Cotton candy, Sunflower, Daffodil, Lavender, Arctic, Forest, Peacock
·         Shimmer paste – Dreams, Sonoma, Jingle bells
·         Dazzle paste – Orchid, Fog, Ballet
·         Stencils – Party balloons
·         Colouring card set
·         Paper twine
·         Embellishments
·         Pattern paper pack
·         Cardstock with designer sheets
·         Acetate sheet
·         Masking paper
·         Premium white cardstock

With the recent release of premium dye inks there is so much to be made. These inks are so juicy and vibrant when applied on white cardstock. They are so easy to blend the colours and they can also be used for water colouring because they are water based.

When coming to the stamps, they are birthday themed and have the cutest animal images. The stencil included is also related to birthday theme. Either inks or the paste (shimmer/dazzle) can be used for the stencil.
With the stamps, inks, stencil and papers in the kit, multiple cards can be created with a touch of embellishments and twine.

How my journey with Craftyscrappers started:
I started stamping and die cutting in 2015. Until then I was into quilling and suddenly came across stamping videos in YouTube. Since then, I have not stop creating handmade cards. I used to make cards using Altenew, My favourite things, Greetings farm, Lawn fawn, Your next stamp. These are my favourite international brand. When it comes to Indian brand, it has and will always be Craftyscrappers.

One day I came across Craftyscrappers stamps in 2017 where they had released the Disney princess stamp sets. I fell in love with the design and immediately bought them. Since then, I never fail to stack up my stash with their stamps and stencils.

In 2018, I started working as design team member for a couple of digital stamps when Craftyscrappers announced their DT call. I applied as everyone else would and I was surprised to be selected. I read the mail about 3 times to confirm that I was selected. Konica and team have been kind enough to give the opportunity to work for them for 6 months.

Just when my term was getting over, I decided to extend my DT part and thanks to the team for believing in me they accepted my application to continue for another 6 months. Currently we are 16 design team members and each of us have a unique style of crafting.

How Craftyscrappers changed me?
I never considered myself as an expert crafter. I am always a beginner who is ready to learn, try and explore techniques in crafting. I have tried mixed media, scrapbooking but I always come back to making handmade cards. I think handmade cards are the best way to give and share love to others.

Working as a DT for Craftyscrappers has helped me grow as a card maker. I used to struggle a lot initially and would take a long time to make cards. But now, I can make so many cards in a day. I can visually see the difference in my work let it be colouring, layout of cards, techniques, making a video….

All this is possible only because of Konica and the team who believed in me and still believe in me. Huge thanks to them for having faith in me and my work. With this constant love and encouragement, I will come with more card projects, new techniques and tips to share with all.

Thank you everyone for joining me here to celebrate our birthday and also reading about my journey here. Give the team and me all the love you can by following us on social media and sharing my work.

Quick card using critter sheet

Hi there,

Card making is so much fun and it opens up our creativity. There are so many techniques and interactive cards these days. I have some fellow crafters who say 'It takes a long time to make a card' or 'How do you manage to make so many cards' or 'I don't know what to make'.... and more..

In response to all these, I decided to make a quick card using critter sheets and embossing folders. It took about 5 minutes to make this card. I had the critter sheets cut long back so it hardly took any time for me to turn this into a card.

I used critter sheets from my favourite Die cuts and more. Check out their critter sheets its awesome and great to use on card projects and scrapbooking. For the embossing folder I used Anna griffin - feather illusion to do some dry embossing.

Now to put all these together. I used a layout from The flower challenge (layout is below) and added the embossing and the flowers together. I added a small sentiment to go with this. Since I used floral elements here, I can add any sentiment.

Challenges entered:

I hope you all like this quick card. Please give your love by following my blog and facebook page.
