Diwali lantern

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with a beautiful and a colourful mini lantern which is perfect for Diwali using Incredible India papers and Diwali element sheet from Swati craft corner.

I used a white card stock for the base and die cut a oval in the centre on all 4 sides. I did the same for the pattern papers too. Before assembling them together, I dies cut some Moroccan style from dies I had and added a piece of vellum too. So the vellum will help the battery tea light show out. For the lid, I used white card stock and added the pattern papers. To add more to the lid, I added the mirror image elephants and embellished with flowers and leaves and decostones.

Below are the images... Like and share the post..

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.

See through window cards

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

For my post, I have see through window cards using our newly launched stamps. This is a very easy interactive technique to make quick cards. The process to make them is the same but I have used different backgrounds and dies. I have video as well to go along with this post.

Card 1

For my first card, I used Krishna stamp set and mixed it up with peacock feathers stencils.
First, I did the stenciling part on white cardstock using aqua blue and turquoise ink. Then with a light hand, I added some lawn green to the background.
I took a top fold white notecard and lined up the stenciled piece. Using a circle die, I die cut both the card the layers to create a window.
I added a piece of acetate that will hold the image and make it look like its floating.
To finish the card, I added some embellishments and a sentiment on the inside of the card.

Card 2

For my next card, I used surprise box stamp. It has this cute image and I love this card.
I wanted a different background for this so I added ink to make it look like striped background.
I used lawn green, lavender violet, tangy orange and lemon yellow to make the striped pattern.
Using a rectangle die, I die cut the pattern and the note card together to create a window.
Used an acetate sheet I added the image and finished by adding sentiment.
(I also added some black lines using marker to enhance the pattern)

Card 3

For my final card, I created a window panel on the side of the card using Cage die which goes perfectly with the bird stamp set.
For this card, I did some ink blending using light pink, hot pink and raspberry.
I repeated the same step as I did for the last two cards to die cut the cage.
The acetate sheet helps in holding the die cuts together and I added the bird to the card.
To finish the card, I added the sentiment and some flowers and leaves.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.
Stay happy and keep crafting.

Christmas Snow globe

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

My post for today is a 'Snow Globe' using Christmas Carol papers. I love the paper pack and it has very unique designs and its definitely a must have pack. There are so many elements in the pack which can be used for many Christmas and winter themed projects. I have made a shaker snow globe using some designs from the pack and elements from the coordinating element sheet.

To make this snow globe, I first die cut a circle from white cardstock.
For the shaker part, I used two different sizes of circle dies and die cut from pattern paper as well as craft foam. The foam gives enough dimension and space to add the shaker sequins.
Using dye inks, I inked the white cardstock to give it a evening look and also cut white piece to make it look like there is snow on the ground.

Before making the shaker part, I first added the all the elements and sequins and then used an acetate sheet to sandwich between the pattern paper and the base.

I made the base of the snow globe from black cardstock. I wanted a part of the circle to be hidden. So I used heavy weight chipboard and black cardstock to make the base of the globe.

To finish the project, I added sentiments and some golden liquid pearls.

Hope you all enjoyed the project.
Stay safe and happy crafting

'Just swinging by' card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am happy to be back with another card for Le Anns World 101 using Just Swinging. I have a pattern paper for the background and added a circle die cut and lightly inked it with orange ink. Then I added the image to the circle.

I had some handmade flowers from left over pattern paper and some foliage leaves too. I added this bunch to one side of the card and finished by adding a sentiment.

'Ahoy Matey' - photo Cube

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

This is the first time I tried something different and outside by comfort zone. I made a photo cube where we can add 5 photos, 4 on the sides and 1 on the top. I made this cube from a 12 by 12 kraft cardstock and used a heavy one to make this cube. I used Party like a pirate stamp set and stamped out all the images. I wasn't sure how I was going to use them but just to create more, I added the ship to the inside of the photo envelope.

These are the sides of the photo cube.

The top and sides of the cube.

The above image shows how the photo cube can be used to place pictures in them. I used a couple of my own photos here just to show how to.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.

Shadow box Halloween card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

This is my favorite card now. I loved how this turned out and the shadow box with the witch on the inside is a wonderful touch to such cards. I have the most cutest witch on a broom image and the loveliest kawaii moon from Stampers Delights.

How to make this card:
Take 2 pieces of 4 1/4 by 11 inch cardstock which can be cardstock A and B
Cardstock A, fold it in half at 5 1/2 inches and trim one eight of the inch on one side. The part will be the back of the card.
Cardstock B, score at 1/2", 4 1/4" and 4 3/4" and burnish the scored lines.
Die cut any desired shape in the middle of cardstock B.
Add strong adhesive to the 1/2" and place it right next to the middle fold of cardstock A. Fold and press it down nicely.
Add adhesive to the remaining part of the B which is after the third scored line and add that to the back of cardstock A.
Now when we open it, it pop opens into a shadow box.
After adding all the images, it opens up into a beautiful shadow box.

Slider + Journal page - Halloween is here

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Everyone loves interactive card especially when there is a cute witch who is flying to the moon. What makes it better when we can also add a journal page which is colourful to go along with it. I have a video tutorial on how to make a slider card and the journal page.

I used distress inks for the cards and chroma burst from expressions crafts to add colour to the page. I did some heat embossing to the journal page.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.

'Altenew' stamp cards

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am excited to share some cards made using stamps and inks from Altenew. Altenew stamps are the first stamps and inks I bought when I started crafting. They are very close to me and I love the vibrant ink colours. As they started with layering stamps, it solved my biggest problem which is colouring flowers. The mini ink cube sets are the best for layered stamps. My all time favourite stamp is Camellia and the flower is huge and absolutely stunning.

Inks used:

Below, I have 3 cards made using stamps and inks and I will be entering into some challenge mentioned at the end of the post.

CAS Fairytale friends card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with another CAS card using Fairytale friends from Your Next stamp. YNS is my all time favourite stamp brand and they have the most cutest stamp sets ever.

To make this card, I used the deer and rabbit from the stamp set and stamped them onto a white cardstock which I coloured and fuzzy cut them out. Since I didnt have grass and clouds stencils, I made them myself. I had a grass die which i die cut from scarp paper and used the negative space as a stencil. For the clouds and just cut it out from old carsdstock. I stenciled the clouds and the grass.

I had some flower and leaves die cuts with me for whch I used alcohol markers to colour them. I circle die cut and added to one corner of the notecard and trimmed out the excess. I added the sentiment and then added the images. To finish the card, I added a thin strip of black cardstock and some gemstones.
