Create a scene cards

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I used out October release stamps from Tubby Craft to make these two cards. I used mini stamps Firefly and Best fishes to make these two cards along with stencils Scalloped clouds and Dot illusion.  I have a video on how I made these cards below.

Light field using fireflies

To make this card, I stamped the large firefly and the jar.
I wanted to make it look like the jar is open and the fireflies are flying out of them.
I die cut an oval and masked the base and did some stenciling using Dot illusion and lead grey ink.
I took another oval die cut piece and started inking the background first using Turquoise and Chinese blue ink.
I die cut some grass and inked with lawn green and emerald green.
After adding them to the base, I added the fuzzy cut jar and cut the lid. I pasted the lid in an angle to make it look like the jar is open and the flies are flying out of the jar.
To finish the card, I added the huge fly and a sentiment.

Fish tank using Best fishes

To make this card, I used scalloped clouds stencils.
I first used a circle mask and placed the stencil inverted so it gives a wave look. I used Chinese blue ink for the stenciling.
I removed the mask and used is negative space and inked the center circle using Aqua blue ink.
I stamped the fish, coloured and fuzzy cut it and kept separately.
To stamp the seaweed, I used Olive green and chocolate brown ink. I blended both together and stamped the plants.
I added some bubbles using Chinese blue ink and finished the card by adding the fishes and sentiment. I also added small black cots around the circle to make it the focal point.

Mandap Photocube

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Weddings are special and a wonderful occasion where two people who belong to each other and celebrated with near and dear. The memory lasts forever and I decided to make a simple project using Shubh Vivaah collect kit from Swati Craft Corner. I have a Photo cube where we can keep 4 pictures on 4 sides and a small wedding mandap on the top of the cube.

To make the cube, I used 12 by 12 cardstock and scored at every 4 inches from all sides and then cut on 4 sides. Using glue, I brought in all the sides together to make a cube. One side of the base will be left open, so I made a small lid and added that to the base. I used the lid side, to make the mandap.

The Shubh vivaah collection is one of kind paper pack showing the occasions of Indian weddings and the bright colours with the coordinating element sheet make wonderful wedding gifts.

I placed the stencil on the inked paper and removed the excess using a wet tissue. I added a piece of black card stock and a strip of white cardstock. To finish the card, I added the fuzzy cut image and finished with a sentiment and gemstones.

Diwali gift house + Candle holder base

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am so happy to post this Diwali project using Incredible India from Swati Craft Corner. This is a project I decided to make when I wanted to have a small gift to be given to loved ones. I made the base using chipboard and then added the pattern paper.

The house is a gift box and I added some gold ball chain to make it look like diwali lights. The box opens from the bottom of the box. The base is also a candle holder where we can light a tea candle.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the project.

'Bloom with grace' - One stamp two cards

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have two simple cards using October release from Tubby Craft - Bloom. I have two cards using one stamp set and both are different from each other. I have this beautiful Bloom stamp set from Tubby craft and its a gorgeous flower with beautiful sentiments.

Card 1

I call this flower Tiger lily..
I stamped the flower on white card stock and coloured using pencils. I used shades of Orange and Red and then fuzzy cut it out.
I used Moroccan and stenciled one design from it using Tangy Orange and Imperial Red. I blended both the inks together and trimmed down the cardstock.
I took another piece of white cardstock, and randomly stamped the fireworks image on the background using Lemon yellow ink.
I assembled all the pieces together and and finished by adding a sentiment from the stamp set.

Card 2

I call this Orchid...
I did no-line colouring for this card. I didn'd do water colouring but used colour pencils instead. I love this technique and its so much fun.
I kept the card very simple here. I fuzzy cut the image and added it to a piece of black cardstock.
I took a whitecard stock and scored lines using my scoreboard to give a little texture.
To add a little more to the card, I used a gold washi tape and added the black cardstock over it.
To finish the card, I added a sentiment and a few gemstones.
