'Baby in box' - baby cards

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have 2 simple baby cards made using one stamp set - Baby in box. Its an adorable stamp set and can be used to make baby cards or art journal or tags and much more. I used dye inks for both my cards and did repeated stamping for one of the cards.

Card 1 - Ink blending

To make this I used Turquoise and Lavender violet ink and blended them together for the background.
I stamped the images, coloured and fuzzy cut them.
I added the background to note card and added a strip of black cardstock
Using double sided foam adhesive, I added the images and the stamped sentiment
To finish the card, I added some stars from It's a boy stamp set and added some liquid pearls.

Card 2 - Repeated stamping

For my second card, I did some repeated stamping.
I inked a white card stock with hot pink ink and let it dry completely.
While the ink was drying, I stamped, coloured and fuzzy cut the image.
I used the teddy image from the set and did repeated stamping on the inked piece.
I trimmed down the cardstock and added it to a note card along with a strip of black cardstock
Using foam adhesive, I added the image to the card.
I finished the card, by adding a sentiment and liquid pearls.

Hello there,

This card is made using Tropical fun from The Paper Shelter for Challenge #450 where the theme is Digital image.

Isn't this is fun image????
I used dots and strips pattern paper for the background. I used light blue background for the sky and darker blue die cut waves for the sea. I added some green die cut leaves and flowers. Fortunately I found a perfect sentiment that goes with the image.

Diwali cards, envelope, tag and embellishment

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with another inspiration post here. These are some projects I made for Diwali using Incredible India papers from Swati craft corner along with diwali element sheets and some foamiran flowers. Below I have cards, an envelope, a tag and an embellishment all made using the same paper pack for Diwali. There are so many projects that can be using one paper pack and coordinating element sheet. If you closely see the projects, there are a lot of texture and layering and elements that go so well with the theme.

Name plate

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

With festive season and wedding season here in India, gifting handmade products to near and dear gives us happiness. I have a new project here using Shubh Vivah paper collection from Swati Craft Corner. This will make a gift for newly weds or for house warming.

The paper pack is Indian wedding theme and has gorgeous bright colours that compliment Indian weddings. They can also be used for other themed projects apart from wedding.

How to make this:
I took an MDF base measuring 9 x 12 inches and painted the back side using chalk paint. Gesso can also be used instead of chalk paint.
I measured the same on 12 x 12 pattern paper and cut out the same.
Using Mod Podge, I pasted the pattern paper to the MDF base.
Then, I added element sheets and some chiplets that come along with the set.
To finish the nameplate, I added some flowers, leaves and sealed the sides using a gold washi tape.

Diwali theme layout

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have a different project this time using stamps, inks and stencils from Tubby Craft. I have used the stamps as embellishments here and the ink pads to create a water colour background. Instead of using texture, I used stencils to create patterns along with some die cuts and burlap.

I applied a coat of clear gesso on white cardstock and dried with heat tool
Using ink pads, I created a water colour background. I dabbed the ink pad onto an acrylic block and mixed with little water and used a flat paint brush to apply on the card stock.
I used Foliage 1, peacock feathers and Moroccan tiles stencils to do the stenciling layer.
I used Diwali wishes, Buttercup and Floral invitaion  stamps to make my own embellishments.
I used some lace dies and peacock dies and started assembling all the pieces together.

Christmas is coming

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

This card is made using A giant candy cane from The Paper Shelter for Challenge #448 where the theme is Christmas is coming.

This is a cute image and coloured it and trimmed it out. I used winter theme papers for the background, die cut some flowers and leaves from pattern papers. I used three decostones and coloured them in red to make it look like cherries. I added the flowers and leaves and the decostones. I added the sentiment and to finish the card, added the piece to a top fold note card.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card. Stay happy and keep crafting.

Candycane Shaker card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

This is my favoutite card and I used Candycane from Le Anns 101 for our monthly challenge. I made a winter shaker card. I printed the image which is larger than normal so the focus is entirely on the image. To make the shaker part, I used chipboards instead of foam adhesive and acetate sheet with yellow striped pattern paper. For the inner part of the shaker element, I used white shaker sequins for the part.
To finish the card, I added it to a top fold note card and snowflake.
