Inspirational card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have a simple card using Wild Rose from The Paper Shelter for this week's challenge Going Dotty. This is a beautiful floral image and I coloured using pencils and added it to a dotted background. Its a top fold card where I first added an orange vellum sheet and topped it with another dotted sheet and added the image with some dimension. To finish the card, I added some gemstones and a sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.

Thank you card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have a Thank you card today using Arabesque Medallion stamp set from Altenew for Altenew inspiration challenge. This is a simple card where I used the largest stamp from the set and wanted to use only half of it. I used my misti and jet black ink to stamp only half of the stamp on white card stock. I used the colours from the inspiration photo from the challenge post and coloured with pencil. I fuzzy cut the coloured image and added it to a white top fold note card and finished with adding gemstones and sentiment.

Mom-to-be cards - Tubby craft stamps

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have two simple cards using new release from Tubby Craft - Pregnancy journal and Personalised Bookmark. The pregnancy stamp has a beautiful image of a mom-to-be sitting in a rocking chair along with smaller images and I used some of the images.I also mixed up an image from personalised bookmark stamp set along with a sentiment from pregnancy stamp.

For my first card, I used the mom-to-be image along with a side table, books and ice cream cup.
I stamped using Jet black ink to stamp the images and coloured them and fuzzy cut them out.
I took a white card stock and made a background. The background is very simple by adding strips to make the wall and floor.
I added this to a top fold note card and added the images
To finish the card, I added the sentiment with some gemstones and stamped a couple of hearts.

For my second card, its a CAS card.
I used a printed vellum for the note card background and added a white card stock over it
I first stamped the sentiment from Pregnancy journal and then stamped the branch image from Personalised bookmark.
I stamped it repeatedly around the sentiment and coloured the image
To finish the card, I added stitched edge and finished with gemstones.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.
Stay happy and keep crafting.

Fun cards using LeAnns World 101 images

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have some super fun cards today using Naptime and Priya from LeAnns World 101. Yes Yes, there is an image with my name and I was super excited when LeAnn made an image and gave my name. Story behind its goes when there were games played in LeAnns FB group when she had posted what image we would like to see next.. I ended up replying an image with my name and my reply was definitely for fun. The next day she announced me as a winner and sent an image with my name. I was jumping with joy and loved how cute the image looks. The girl opening a present in her pyjamas.. This is totally me when it comes to surprise gifts..lol

The card I made using this image is 4 by 6 and for the base, I first added vellum and then layered with pattern paper and vellum again. I added lace on top of the centered vellum and using foam adhesive, I added the image. I did not add any florals here but finished with sequins and pearls.

This is also acute image and reminds me how much I want sleep.. lol.. I had this image coloured and fuzzy cut for a long time. I finally had some time to do some cleaning and found this image. I decided to make a card using her and wanted the background to be super colourful. I had this coloured polka vellum and used it for the background. I took a cardstock and added double sided tape all over it. Then I cut down pieces of vellum at 1/2". I had no colour range here but randomly started stacking them up and I pressed them well using a bone folder. I also added a pattern paper strip and using foam adhesive added the image. To finish the card, I added gemstones and flowers.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.

'Day to day' scrap layout

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am happy to share a layout made using 'Day by Day' elements from Mintay papers for this month's challenge at The creative crafters challenge. I used only the elements and one sheets to make the layout. There are tons of elements to work with and adding mulberry flowers to them makes a good layout. I was in my hometown and I hardly had mixed media supplies with me. Instead of white gesso, I used white pigment ink and black dye ink. Using my pencil, I marked where I wanted the focus to be and started layering all the elements together.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.

I am back with another card for World wide open design team challenge this month using Julia Spiri's digis Elf and foxes. Its a simple card where my focus is on the image and for the card base, I used some lace and finished up with some flowers. I love this image and I tried my best to do better my colouring.

Birthday card using critter elements

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have a simple card made using critter elements from Die cuts and more - Watercoloured Magnolias and Sentimental Banneriffic. Its a beautiful sheet and I love Magnolias. The critter sheets are amazing to use. They can be used for cards, mixed media, scrap booking, layouts, tags and more. I have a simple card using the critter flowers and used a sentiment from sentimental bannerific. I took a brown cardstock and to add some texture to it, I scored at every quarter inch and added it to a black cardstock. I have been using black tulle off late in my projects and I added that along with lace and started layering up the flowers and leaves.

Birthday cards using images from LeAnns World 101

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with another super fun birthday cards. I am using a digi from LeAnns World 101 which was recently last month in view of LeAnn's birthday called Happy birthday to you and
Birthday gift. I made a chabby chic card using laces, floral elements and flowers and sequins... Both cards are chabby chic and super fun to make. I love making chabby chic cards.

I kept the image colouring simple and for the background, I used pattern paper. I layered pattern paper and to highlight the image, I added the coloured piece on to black card. Then, I assembled all the other embellishments to finish my card.

Peony flower card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

My all time favourite layering stamp set is Peony Bouquet stamp from Altenew. I love the large flower and the accents that are are in the set. The large flower works great with ink sets that are available with Altenew.

For my card, I have three large flowers here where two are blue and one is yellow along with the coordinating leaves. For the card base, I used Kraft card stock and to give some dimension and texture, I scored at every 1/2 inch. I used my bone folder to burnish the scored lines and to add it to my note card, I used double sided adhesive. While adding the kraft card, I did not lay it flat but it has some raised areas. I added the flowers and leaves to the card base.  To finish the card, I added sequins and a sentiment.

Spring sunset card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

For today, I have a card made using Fairytale friends from Your next stamp where I used the deer, rabbit and the mushroom home. For the background, I tried to make a vanilla sky and the sunsetting along the sea. For the background, I used inks from Craftyscrappers and used a make up brush. Make up brush is perfect for adding very mild inks and they also work well for blending.

I love the evening sky, sometime when I look out of the window I can see a beautiful vanilla sky and I used that for my card. For the sea, I wanted it to be a little dark and not exactly blue so I used seaweed shade ink to give a little dark colour to the sea. While inking, I placed a circle die sticker to mask off the sun. Then I used the negative space to add colour to the sun.

I die cut grass and inked them up as well. After keeping all this ready, I stamped the images and cut them out. I assembled all the images together and added sequins and finished with a sentiment.

Chabby chic birthday cards

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with a couple of chabby chic birthday cards using Jiving Five and Big birthday wishes from Tubby Craft. Birthday are fun occasions and Tubby has a range of wonderful number stamps which can be used to make birthday cards or baby projects. I have a mini slimline card and a mini circle card for today's post.

Mini Slimline card

For my first card, I used Jiving Five and balloon stamp from Big birthday wishes. I stamped them on white card stock and coloured them using pencils and fuzzy cut them out.
I made a mini slimline card which measures 3.5 by 6 inches.
Its a white note base and I had some layers added, black card and pink one.
I added lace, tulle, die cut and then added the stamped 5 image on top of it.
To embellish it, I added flowers and decostones.
To finish the card, I added the balloons, sentiment and sequins.

Mini circle card

I have a circle base note card and I added a small lace along the edge.
Then, I added a yellow die cut in the middle of the card.
I used the small cupcake image from Big birthday wishes and stamped it three times. I coloured only one of the image.
I had a small tag die cut in my stash and added the cupcake to it.
I added the tag to the center of the die cut piece and the other two cupcakes on either side.
I finished the card by adding flowers, sentiment and sequins.

I love to receive, give and make pretty cards with cute image. I have Coquette from The Paper Shelter for this weeks challenge #472 Birthday theme cards. This is a super cute image which I turned it into a birthday card. Since I wanted the focus to be on the image, I added the sentiment on the inside of the card. I have floral pattern paper for the base and added a lace.. Lace gives so much to the card and added die cut leaves and flowers to finish the card.
