Celebrate with roses

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

“The world is a rose, smell it, and pass it to your friends.” – Persian Proverb

I have a simple card using element sheets and pattern paper I used from Growing craft. For my card, I used Polka basics and Fussy sheet - 016. This fussy sheet has a ton of beautiful roses and leaves and they can be used for any craft project.

Growing craft is a brand by my dear friend and talented crafter Soniya Agarwal. She has some wonderful products listed in her site and check them out here - https://growingcraft.com/

For my card, I used two roses from the sheet and two sheets of pattern paper (green, blue) from the paper pack.  I fuzzy cut the elements and cut the pattern paper into strips. I took a top fold notecard and added a black cardstock to it, and adhered the strips diagonally alternating each other. Finally, I added the roses and leaves to the strips and stamped a sentiment with white ink. I added some white dots with my gel pen and some gem stones.

Flutter wishes

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with another card for New Year using Bejeweled stamp set from Altenew. This is an old set and one of the first stamps I bought from Altenew. I love the butterfly in this set and its so cool to colour it and turn it into cards.

I choose colour scheme from one of the year's challenge and decided to go along and with it. It was super fun to make this card and I turned it into a New year card. I splattered some black and brown ink to the background and finished the card with some pearls and sentiment.

Hello there,

I am back with another card for New year and this time its a clean and simple card using elements from Hennah elements from Altenew and I have also used Ocean waves ink and Olive ink to stamp leaves and design from the stamp set.

I stamped the floral and leaves using black ink and coloured with pencils. For floral I used purple and leaves used green. I fuzzy cut the elements and kept them aside. I took a white note card and mildly inked one side using ocean waves ink and then added a strip of gold and black card stock. Using Olive ink, I stamped the leaves and using Ocean waves ink I stamped the other design. I added the leaves and floral together. I added pearls and sentiment to finish the card.

Showers for new year

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am stretching my stamps to make cards for New year. new year brings new hopes & opportunities. I love making cards and giving them out to friends and colleagues. I made a card unusual from using fireworks and other geometric pattern and instead used flowers to make my card.

I used Altenew products for my card where I used Vintage flowers stamp set and used the largest rose from the set. To stamp, I used Glacier caves ink set and for the small flowers I used Red cosmos and Shades of purple ink set and for the leaves I used Green fields ink set and Tropical forest ink set.

I took a white note card and inked it with Frosty pink ink from Red Cosmos set and inked a part of the card. I sprayed black ink using a paint brush and let it dry for a while. I stamped a sentiment and kept it aside. I started to assembled all the stamped images together and added gemstones and sentiment to finish the card.

Hope this christmas

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I love to stretch my stamps to make cards for different occasions. I made a card using Choose hope from Pinkfresh Studio and turned it into a non-traditional Christmas card. I decided to take part in this month's challenge at Pinkfresh studio and used colours from mood board provided. I used pink for flowers, yellow for background, teal and green for leaves.

I stamped the image and coloured with pencils. I fuzzy cut the image and kept it aside. I took a white notecard and inked with yellow ink. I trimmed down strips of white card stock to adde for the background. I added some die cut leaves and the stamped image and finished the card with pearls and sentiment.

Die cut floral card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I recently bought some stuff from Altenew and decided to put those together and make a card. I am using Waffled diamonds 3D embossing folder and Climber flowers die set. I didn't have colour card stock so I used mini ink cubes and inked up the cardstock. Sets I used here are Red Cosmos and Warm gray ink set.

I used white cardstock and embossed the background first and added that by card base. I die cut florals and leaves from the inked cardstock and added them together. I put in all the die cuts together and added a sentiment from bejeweled stamp set. I finished the card with some gemstones.

Stencil embossed background

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Its been two days since my Insta got hacked and my friends and myself we are all trying everything we can but to no use. One of my friends suggested that I focus on making cards and that will help me mentally recover and I listened to her.

Before we start, if you are following my craft account in Instagram, please report & block the account.

Lets start with our card, its a floral card and I used stencil this time and instead of inking, I embossed it. To make this card, I used products from HNDMD - Ornate lace stencil and Hello lovely stamp set and started working on a white card stock.

I took the stencil and placed it with a foam mat and run it through my die cut machine. I off set the stencil so I can cover two diagonal edges of the card. I ran about couple of times to get a good impression. I set that aside and worked on the stampes florals and added them to the card base. I used gemstones and sentiment to finish the card.

Winter princess

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Its been a tough week for me as my Instagram account has been hacked and there is no way to recover. I request all those following my account to report it as hacked and not to respond to any msgs.

I pulled myself up and made this cute card for our last challenge this year at LeAnns World 101. The image I used is Abigail ad since she resembles Cinderella, I used blue for her dress and brown for her hair. The card is very simple and added some scrap pattern papers for the background and s sentiment and embellishments to finish the card. To highlight her dress, I added white dots using a gel pen.

Merry & bright Christmas card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have two simple Christmas cards where I mixed matched the stamps to make them along with inks and stencil. I made the cards like a sequence where the first card shows the elephant taking a Christmas tree home and the second card with a decorated Christmas home.

Card 1 - Bring home Christmas

For my first card, I used elephant and the basket from Adorable runner stamp set and used Christmas tree and sentiment from Shine on stamp set.
I stamped the images and coloured them using colour pencils and alcohol markers, I fuzzy cut them out and kept them aside.
I took a white notecard to ink up the sky and the land using Turquoise blue and emerald green
I wanted to tuck the Christmas tree in the basket, so I made a slit in the tree and tucked it into the basket.
I added the images to the inked notecard and using a black pen I attached the cycle and the basket
I used gold paint to add some splatters to the background
I finished the card by adding a sentiment and added it to a side fold notecard.

Card 2 - Deck the halls

For my second card, I used the tree from Shine on stamp set along with sentiment and leaves and cherry along with decors from Adorable runner and gift boxes from Sibling festival.
I coloured the tree and the boxes and fuzzy cut it out and kept them aside.
I took a white notecard and masked of some bit and inked one part with Raspberry and the other part of the notecard I stenciled with Bricks and used Mustard yellow and Chocolate brown
I added a small strip of gold cardstock and stamped the decors using Jet black ink and splattered gold paint
I added all the images together and added a sentiment and added it to a top fold note pad.

Spotlight focus

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Isn't it fun to try new techniques and make new cards. I call this spotlight focus technique and I've used Floral wishes from Craftyscarppers which is a brilliant stamp set to make cards and journal pages. The intricate sketches in the petals is too good to add some details. My favourite technique is to add highlights to floral images and I did try something different here.

I inked up one side of the cardstock with distress ink and then stamped the images from the stamp set. I placed the florals so that one half is stamped on the inked part and the other on the white part. After stamping, I wanted to add some more details, so I used a micro tip black pen and added the details. Once I was done, I splattered some gold paint to the base and added embellishment and sentiment. I added this piece to a grey cardstock.
