Hello sunshine

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with another card and this time its a CAS card. I was having the floral sticker with me for a very long time and didn't know where to use it. I was working on another card and had some vellum leftover which I decided to use for the card base. First I wanted to have a die cut background but changed my mind to embossed background using an embossing folder. After embossing, I adhered to a white note card and the look of vellum embossed is so pretty. I added the sticker to the center of the card and a sentiment and small flowers to finish the card.

Birthday wishes

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Lets start March with my favourite flower, sunflowers. Recently, in our building I saw a couple of sunflowers blooming and I immediately made a card. To make this card, I used Slimline cross strips die and Sunflower critter sheet from Die cuts and more. Its one of my favourite brands where they have beautiful dies - Indian theme and slimline dies are wonderful. In recent time, I have been quiet busy with so many things and didn't have the time to colour. In such cases, I prefer to use critter flowers to make cards. I die cut the slimline background using black cardstock and assembled them onto a vellum base. While die cutting, the V shaped pieces all fall apart but I stacked them up together. I added the critter flowers to the card base and added some small flowers and leaves as well and finished the card with a sentiment.

Pink birthday card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am happy to share another card and its a birthday cards, I made using Dahlia from Power Poppy. I came across this digi and immediately bought it and decided to make a card. The best thing about digis are the size of image can be changed accordingly. I printed out two dahlias on either corner of the and thought I will make a slimline card but I hardly had anytime to actually colour the image. I am like so exhausted these days and trying to bring back my energy to colour. I love colouring and I have so many brands of pencils to colour but I am tired. I hope to find my mojo back soon. I used shades of pink to colour the flower and used an old embossing folder for the card base and fuzzy cut the image. I added it to one corner of the card base, added a sentiment. Instead of embellishments, I added a strip of pink and silver cardstock.
