Stained glass birthday card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back here after a long gap. I had some personal work and hardly time to craft or even colour. I finally caught some time to make two cards from one die. I saw this die from Die cuts and more

SLIMLINE STAINED GLASS B/G DIE. I did inking and die cut in-lay for the cards.

CARD 1

For this card, I die cut the outline from black cardstock and kept it aside.
I used a white cardstock and colour the pieces using alcohol markers and added them to the die cut base using in-lay technique
I set aside the white outline base for the next card
I used white gel pen for highlight and then added a sentiment

CARD 2

For this card, I took a white cardstock and inked it with rainbow colours.
The notecard is slimline and trimmed the inked base accordingly
I added an acetate sheet and then the white outline to the card
I finished with some embellishments and a sentiment.

Safari birthday card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Jungle friends are the best for sending birthday wishes especially when cute and adorable images are used to make a birthday card. For today, I used super cute images from DCAM Safari animals along with some die cut leaves. I used a ton of leaves which I die cut from various shades of green and stacked them one on top of the other. I tucked in the animals as I was layering the leaves and added a double border and a sentiment with some gemstones.

Birthday card using critter elements

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have a simple card made using critter elements from Die cuts and more - Watercoloured Magnolias and Sentimental Banneriffic. Its a beautiful sheet and I love Magnolias. The critter sheets are amazing to use. They can be used for cards, mixed media, scrap booking, layouts, tags and more. I have a simple card using the critter flowers and used a sentiment from sentimental bannerific. I took a brown cardstock and to add some texture to it, I scored at every quarter inch and added it to a black cardstock. I have been using black tulle off late in my projects and I added that along with lace and started layering up the flowers and leaves.

'Happy day' - slimline card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with another slimline card and this time its chabby chic baby card. I used Baby boy giraffe from Die cuts and more. They have amazing range of critter sheets which can be used with any pattern paper or stencils or die cuts or stamps as well. I fuzzy cut the the elements and had them in a box for quiet sometime and I had no idea how I was gonna use them.

Since slimline cards are i trend, I thought why not make a slimline chabby chic baby card. Even though the theme says boy, I kept it neutral and just added a sentiment happy day. The card can also be used as a birthday card for one year old kid or a baby card. For embellishing the card and give it a chabby chic look, I added lace, tulle, die cut leaves, flowers and decostones. All I did was adding them into layers, layers and to finish the card, I added the sentiment happy day.

Spring floral card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have a cute spring floral card using ready to colour Flowering blooms from Die cuts and more. I loooovveee the ready to colour floral elements. We can colour using pencils, markers or water colours and fuzzy cut them and use them in card, tag, envelopes or scrap booking.

For my card, I used double coloured flower - blue and purple and coloured the leaves.. I like to add some non-coloured flowers too while layering them. For the card base, I used side fold card and added a pastel violet cardstock first. Then layered with pattern paper. Then added a piece of lace and I am in love with this gorgeous lace. I started layering the flowers one on top of the other and finished with a simple sentiment and some sequins.

Floral layout

Hi there,

Welcome back to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Today, I have a layout where I added lots of floral elements. This is my first time making a layout and hope you all like it. I have two different sizes of card stock here and one is pink and and white card stock. There are more elements in this layout like heart charms, laces, ribbons.

The floral elements  - Floral delight and Watercoloured Mauves are from Die cuts and more and the stamps used in the background are from Tubby craft - Floral invitation. I did repeat stamping in the background and covered all the sides of the white cardstock.

I took the pink cardstock and distressed the edges and did some stenciling using texture paste. After the paste has dried up completely, I added some ink and spread it out using water and dried with heat tool. I placed all the elements to see if the layout was looking good and then added them one by one using heat gun. To finish the layout, I added this to the stamped piece and finish with the sentiment and gemstones.

Best wishes card

Hello there,

I am here with a card for The Paper Shelter (TPS) challenge #390. TPS is a stamp company which provides digital stamps, accessories, pattern paper and much more.

We also have challenge blog where every week we have a different theme for the challenge and these are showcased by 2 teams. And for this week our challenge is "DIGITAL IMAGE". While entering the challenge, please remember to stick to the theme. Here I have used Queen of Hearts image to make this card.

For this card, I did a lot of die cutting and added them to an orange card stock. It contrasts with my image here and I loved the outcome. To add the images, I used foam adhesive on the back of the image and added a best wishes sentiment to finish the card.

I hope you all liked my project. Do check out our website for more images and also participate in our weekly challenge and get a chance to win great prizes (link for both are available at the beginning of the post).

Card in a card

Hello there,

I am here with a card for The Paper Shelter (TPS) challenge #388. TPS is a stamp company which provides digital stamps, accessories, pattern paper and much more.

We also have challenge blog where every week we have a different theme for the challenge and these are showcased by 2 teams. And for this week our challenge is "STRIPS AND DOTS". While entering the challenge, please remember to stick to the theme. Here I have used Coquette image to make this card.

I tried a new technique here called Card in a card. For this I took 2 top fold note cards of different sizes and added them together.

For the second card which is the bottom layer, I used daubers to add big dots on the entire note card. And for the first layer, I added some strips using old card stock.

I added the first note card on top of the second. I used tacky glue to add the layer. I used a tracing paper for the background. I added the fuzzy cut image to it and added it to the striped card base. To finish the card, I added some flowers and leaves from critter sheets.

I hope you all liked my project. Do check out our website for more images and also participate in our weekly challenge and get a chance to win great prizes (link for both are available at the beginning of the post).

Simple chic card

Hello there,

I am here with another card for Happy Craft Challenge where I did focus only one particular part of the image and coloured it.

To make this card, I used pattern paper and critter sheets along with some die cuts. The border die cut I have used here is from Die cuts and more and the critter sheets too. Making cards with these critter sheets are so much fun and very easy. I have a video where I made cards using critter sheets and the link is HERE. I recommend to visit the site and check out the sheets.

I hope you all liked this card. Do join us in out monthly challenge.

Create a scene card

Hi there,

Today, I have a create a scene card using die cuts and digital image along with stamped images. I made this card as an inspiration post for Craftyscrappers team. This is a super cute and fun card to make and there are lots of elements to play here and I loved making this card.

Of late, I just love to use die cutting in my cards. I feel they add something extra to the card and turn them more beautiful. Since these are handmade cards I can design them as per the stamps and die cuts I use.

Materials used:
1. Craftyscrappers
    a. Stamp - Its time to party
    b. Inks - ArcticLemonadeGingerbreadSeaweed
2. DCAM die cut - Build a scene
3. Colour pencils
4. Glossy accents
5. White card stock
6. Altenew Jet black ink

How I made this card:
1. I first print out a train image from the net and coloured it with pencils. I stamped 3 images from the stamp set and coloured and fuzzy them and kept it aside.
2. I took a card stock and first inked using Arctic ink for the sky.
3. I die cut mountain, trees and grass from the die set.
4. I inked the die cuts and sprayed some water and let it dry.
5. I double inked for the balloons and fuzzy cut them and added glossy accents.
6. I stamped the sentiment on the carriages and added glossy accents to it.
