The Paper Shelter 13th blog hop celebration

Good Morning lovely crafters!

Welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop, in celebration of The Paper Shelter's 13th Birthday on the 8th of December!  This will be a two week challenge, with both teams taking part, and it's our way of thanking The Paper Shelter for sharing their wonderful images with us, and sponsoring our challenge.

The theme for this special challenge is: CELEBRATIONS

If you've arrived here from Patsy, then you're heading in the right direction!  If not, then you'll want to pop back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, because you don't want to miss out on this one.  Both Design Teams are participating, showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter, and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice, as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

For this year's celebration, I decided to go with a simple and cute card using Incantation. Its such a cute image and works for multiple themes and I made a birthday card. I coloured the image and for the card base, I used pattern papers and come flowers from element sheet. To finish the card, I added the sentiment and some embellishments.

From here, you will need to hop on over to Dewi.  Don't forget to leave your comment for an opportunity to win your choice of one of the fabulous digis available in store!

Good Luck!  Hope you've enjoyed the Hop so far!

Layers of love

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I was invited as a guest designer for Panda Craft Studio for Jun-July and made 3 projects. Panda craft studio has wide range of tools which are like guide to make boxes, albums and more. They also have double sided paper which are sturdy enough to make albums and boxes. In their website they have a few combo offers too and when it comes to price range, its pocket friendly.

I have used their new release Heart explosion box big. There 3 layers in this explosion box which can used together or even separately as gift box. This my first layer explosion box else I generally make one layer explosion box. It was definitely fun to make layered box. Below I have pictures of all three layers. Just click on the image and zoom to see the details. I used their newly launched double sided paper pack - Coral blues to make this explosion box. Apart from the pattern paper, I also used contrasting cardstock which compliments the paper pack for die cutting and adding them to the box. I used some element sheets from Die cuts and more to add to the box along with flowers.

Roseate birthday cake topper

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am here again with a birthday cake topper where I made DIY pattern paper using stencils and ink pads from Tubby craft. Its super fun to make something different as a cake topper or embellishment. Its so easy to make and I used coloured cardstock to stencil and scroll down to see. Though its not shown much in the picture, it looks so beautiful in real. To add some more to the roseate, I added stamped and coloured cake image and some die cut leaves and flowers. The same roseate can be used on various projects like to make small embeliehsments or ATC or to decorate albums or even cards..

Eyes of nature

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am super excited to share one of my favourite cards I made recently using Eyes of nature from The Paper Shelter. Its an oval shaped top fold card and I added some elements like critter flowers and leaves, along with die cut leaves that match the critter leaves shade and some handmade small flowers.
I didn't expect that this card will turn out to be pretty. I kept the colouring very simple and the focus stays on the coloured image. I hope you all check out the image and give a shot at making a beautiful card.

Summer beach

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Its super hot here in India and I wish I could jump into the pool and stay there forever. I am waiting for a short vacation some place near the beach and the closest I could get is making this vintage card using Fun and sun from The Paper Shelter. Paper shelter has wonderful digital images and if you haven't checked them out, I suggest you to have a look at the images. Card is super simple and focused fully on the image and just added sea to the background and some birds and a couple of boats. Its a side fold note card and I have a message written on the inside of the card.

Over the rainbow

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with a colourful card using products from Tubby Craft. I made a rainbow stencil and added a unicorn. Tubby has stencils and stamps that compliment each other. I used multiple colours to stencil the base of the card stock and stamped the unicorn on a white cardstock along with the small rainbows and the sentiment. I coloured the unicorn and added it to the stencilled background. This stencil can be turned around and also used as waves to make underwater scene. I added the unicorn and sentiment and finished with some gemstones.

Products used:
Lavender violet, Aqua blue, Lawn green, Lemon yellow, Imperial red - https://www.tubbycraft.com/dye-ink-pads.html

Dragon army card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am so excited to share this card for the day using  My little dragon army from The Paper shelter for our weekly challenge where this week, our theme is Woodland creatures. This is a cute image and I used the pre-coloured one that comes with the set. I generally colour the images but due to time constrain I decided to go with the pre-coloured ones. Images from paper shelter are pocket friendly as they offer a lot for one image which has pre-coloured, outline, background and the entire pic. What I did here is use some pattern paper for the background (all colours are fall themed) and added the image and for the accents made some die cut flowers and leaves and pearls to finish the card.

Rakshabandan cards

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

On a special occasion to celebrate the love between brother & sister, I have a couple of simple cards. No matter how much a brother fights with his sister, he will always be there for her to protect her. I used stamps and stencils from Tubby Craft to make these cards.

Rakhi Card

For this card, I made a rakhi and placed it right in the middle of the card
To make the rakhi, I used Moroccan tiles stencil. The stencil has 4 designs and I chose one of the designs
I used Lavender violet and Lilac purple dye inks to stencil the design on a white cardstock and then die cut a circle.
I also die cut a black circle and added it under the stenciled piece
I used another stencil to add on two sides of the card base using Lead grey, as I wanted a subtle look to the background.
I took my markers and drew some strings for the rakhi
To finish the card, I added the sentiment and some gemstones.

Card for brother

My second card is super simple and fun
I used Sibling festival stamp set and used the image from the same
I used kraft cardstock for this this card and coloured with pencils
I used my white gel pen to add some interest to the eyes and the girl's clothes along with some markers for more details
I finished the card with sentiment using Jet black ink and added a couple of rakhis to either corner of the card.

Hello there,

We can use these sheets for birthdays, anniversary, mother's day, father's day, valentine's day and more. I have a simple gift bag that looks like a handbag and there is a lot of room to put small gifts and keep some personal messages too or even a mini album. There is a lot of work here with some handmade flowers and die cut leaves and some laces and lather faux charms too.

Beary birthday wishes

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with some fun birthday cards. We at Tubby Craft have a ton of stamps and stencils that can be worked for birthday cards and today, I decided to use Make a wish which has super cure bear images and other elements to work along. Along with this stamp set, I also used Beary wishes from which I added the confetti and stars and Jet black and Chocolate brown ink.

My first card is working on kraft cardstock and this can be made as a one layer card too
I chose one bear image, cake, balloon and the banner and stamped them all using Chocolate brown ink.
I used prisma to colour the images and a white gel pen to add some details.
I kept the card very simple and added some confetti from Beary wishes stamp set
I finished the card with a sentiment

My next card is a slimline card and my focus is on the three bear images from the stamp set
I stamped, coloured and fuzzy cut the bears and kept them aside
I die cut three circles from pastel sheet of paper and added them to the cardstock
I stamped the rest of the images from the set using Jet black ink
I kept these images just like that so the focus stays on the bear
Finally, I added a frame and some stars and confetti from beary wishes stamp set
Finished the card by adding a sentiment

Mask off technique

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with another set of cards and this time I made them using masking technique. They are easy and simple ones to make with or without masking paper, these cards can be made. All 3 cards have floral elements and with a lot of inking. All these cards can be made even as a one layer card. For the cards, I am using all products from Tubby craft and you can check out the link HERE

Card 1 - Making using washi tape

For the first card, I used Lemon yellow and Imperial read ink
I used washi tape to mask off vertically and add the colours from both the sides.
I used blending brushes from Tubby craft
I kept shifting and moving the washi tape to get a striped inked background on one side
After the ink is completely dry, I stamped Plumeria on either side and added a sentiment
To finish the card, I added some gemstones and added the piece to a top fold notecard.

Card 2 - Masking using negative space

For the next card, I took a piece of masking paper and die cut 3 sizes of circles randomly.
I used the negative space of the masking paper here and inked all the 3 die cut parts using Emerald ink, Imperial red and Hot pink
While inking, I kept one side darker and lightened it as I went by
After the inks were dry, I stamped the images from Bright day and added a sentiment from Fancy sentiments
I added some gemstones and finished the card by adding it to a top fold notecard.

Card 3 - making with stencil

For the final card, I used the die cut masking paper which I did earlier and added that to a white cardstock.
I added the masked die cut pieces randomly on the card stock and inked with Turquoise, hot pink and Imperial red
Keeping the masked pieces there, I used striped stencil to add more interest to the card
I turned it diagonally and inked using the same colours again.
Then, I stamped the images from Bright day and floral peony and added some colour to them.
Finally, I added a sentiment and some gemstones to finish the card.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.
Stay happy and keep crafting.
