Life is a fairytale

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am sharing another card which I made yesterday evening after putting my daughter to sleep. I picked out the house, fairy and deer from Pinterest and printed in on a cardstock. I printed the house twice as I wanted to give some dimension. I fuzzy cut the image and from one of the images, I cut the door and added it using foam adhesive. I added a couple of flowers from I am roses - R75(S) -YCC (25Pcs) and S10 Achillea Cottage. Once I was done with the images, I added a couple of beads and a sentiment.

Home decor - S

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

For quiet sometime (which I mean since covid) I had this alphabet S lying around and didn't work with it. Recently I had an opportunity to use the alphabet to make something fun. I planned to use some pattern papers and some elements but then due to lack of time I ended up just adding mulberry flowers. These flowers are from I am Roses, which is a Thailand based company that offers a wide range of mulberry flowers that are pocket friendly as well. If you haven't tried their flowers, I would suggest to check their site and fill your craft room with their flowers. I randomly added shades of pink flowers to the base and went around with lights as well. Its hardly took time to make this.

Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am here today with a layout using R60-596 Romantica rosesR6 - 00 Mixed pink tone and ZQL(0M)-0 Green Rose leaves from IamRoses along with an old paper pack lying at home. I made an album and with the remaining left over sheets, I made a card which I posted earlier and a layout. I love the large roses I used. They make the layout so pretty and works for album as well.

Azalea card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with another card here using Azalea stamp set and Wooden 3D embossing folder from Altenew. I love this floral set as it has layering images and outline image to colour. I stamped floral outline twice along with some leaves and coloured. I fuzzy cut the images and kept them aside and added embossed background as card base. I finished the card with a sentiment and some embellishments.

Layers of love

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I was invited as a guest designer for Panda Craft Studio for Jun-July and made 3 projects. Panda craft studio has wide range of tools which are like guide to make boxes, albums and more. They also have double sided paper which are sturdy enough to make albums and boxes. In their website they have a few combo offers too and when it comes to price range, its pocket friendly.

I have used their new release Heart explosion box big. There 3 layers in this explosion box which can used together or even separately as gift box. This my first layer explosion box else I generally make one layer explosion box. It was definitely fun to make layered box. Below I have pictures of all three layers. Just click on the image and zoom to see the details. I used their newly launched double sided paper pack - Coral blues to make this explosion box. Apart from the pattern paper, I also used contrasting cardstock which compliments the paper pack for die cutting and adding them to the box. I used some element sheets from Die cuts and more to add to the box along with flowers.

Summer fun

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am super excited to share a layout I made for my darling niece using Infinite bloomsSweet friendGeo arch stencil, Curvy leaves die  and Ornate circle die. She is currently in vacation mode and this is an old picture of hers from last year when she was holiday. I love summer holidays. When I was in school I used to have 2 months of vacation and it was always fun. I used to attend summer camps and laze most of the time. I never used to get up before 9.30 in the morning and would just wait for my mom to cut mangoes for me. When I started college all of summer holidays I used to study study study.. I really miss doing nothing LOL...... I am happy my niece and nephew are enjoying their holidays and this is one for her..

Eyes of nature

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am super excited to share one of my favourite cards I made recently using Eyes of nature from The Paper Shelter. Its an oval shaped top fold card and I added some elements like critter flowers and leaves, along with die cut leaves that match the critter leaves shade and some handmade small flowers.
I didn't expect that this card will turn out to be pretty. I kept the colouring very simple and the focus stays on the coloured image. I hope you all check out the image and give a shot at making a beautiful card.

Gift envelope

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am so excited to be here with an gift envelope I made recently. I had a call from my husband's cousin saying that they will be staying with us for a few days. This is their first time meeting us and as per our customs we can't let the guests leave empty handed. I had a couple of these envelopes made for the boys and gave saree and kurta top for the girls. For some reason, I still don't get it, I buy saree for myself and I somehow end up gifting them to dear ones.

Moving on the envelope, I made this in about an hour using all products from Dress my craft. Of all the pattern papers I used from Dress my craft, this Magnolia forever is my all time favourite. I am planning to make a mini album using this envelope. The best is the element sheet with beautiful floral designs that compliment the papers. I made some flowers and leaves using DMC dies and viola, my envelope.

Tons of projects can be made using this paper pack like album, cards, tags, gift boxes, layouts and more.

Today, I have a slimline card using floral elements and the girl image. I have a lot of other elements like, laces, tulle, die cuts, chippies to add to the layers. I mixed and matched the colour of die cuts here along with laces too. I finished the card with poppy flowers and unicorn beads and a sentiment.

Hop and play card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I got an order to make a card for a little girl as she was awarded for her bravery by the state government. I was so happy to make this card for her and hope she loves it. The image I used here is from LeAnns World 101 and as a DT for LW101, I used this as a card for our current challenge that's happening HERE

Image I used here is Georgia Ann and she is an adorable image. I made it shabby chic by using pattern paper, embellishments and flowers. Since I was asked for a bigger card, I made a 5 by 7 card and printed the image accordingly. This is the best part about digital images, we can manipulate it according to our requirement. These images can be used for mixed media, scrap booking and journal pages by reducing the size of the image.I coloured with pencils and added some interest with alcohol markers and white gel pen.

I added pattern paper and elements from the same paper pack to add to the base of the card. I added embellishments like die cuts, lace, chippies and leaves and flowers along with butterflies and pearls. On the inside of the card, I wrote a message with a sentiment to finish the card.

Ganpathi festive cards

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Largest festival in Mumbai is here and its celebration time along with prayers for good health and problem free life. Its Ganesh chaturthi and its a large festival celebrated where we offer prayers and prashad to Lord Ganesha. To celebrate, I made two cards using Diwali GaneshaFoliage 1 stencilMoroccan tiles stencil and dye inks.

CARD 1

My first card is shabby chic and simple one.
For this card, I first inked a white cardstock with Tangy orange ink and let it dry. Once it is dry completely, I used Imperial red ink and Foliage 1 to stenci and create a background.
I stamped the Ganesha image and coloured and fuzzy cut it out.
I added elements like burlap, lace, gauze, die cut foliage and flowers.
I used foam adhesive to add the image to the card and finished with a sentiment from Diwali greetings

CARD 2

For my second card, I first stamped the image on water colour paper and coloured with dye inks.
To create a background, I stenciled using Hot pink and Moroccan tiles stencil.
I added the stenciled piece and the coloured image to a top fold note card.
From the Diwali greetings stamp set, I stamped the sentiment and a couple of lamps to finish the card.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.
