Layers of love

Hello there,

Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I was invited as a guest designer for Panda Craft Studio for Jun-July and made 3 projects. Panda craft studio has wide range of tools which are like guide to make boxes, albums and more. They also have double sided paper which are sturdy enough to make albums and boxes. In their website they have a few combo offers too and when it comes to price range, its pocket friendly.

I have used their new release Heart explosion box big. There 3 layers in this explosion box which can used together or even separately as gift box. This my first layer explosion box else I generally make one layer explosion box. It was definitely fun to make layered box. Below I have pictures of all three layers. Just click on the image and zoom to see the details. I used their newly launched double sided paper pack - Coral blues to make this explosion box. Apart from the pattern paper, I also used contrasting cardstock which compliments the paper pack for die cutting and adding them to the box. I used some element sheets from Die cuts and more to add to the box along with flowers.

Explosion box and bonus mini fotofolio album

Hello there

Welcome back to my blog... Hope all are doing well...

I have two projects would be perfect for Valentine's day gift for loved ones. Its a special day for all to celebrate with loved ones and what can be more special than a handmade gift. I had so much fun and loved making making the explosion box and mini fotofolio album.

For the exploding box I used Owl always love you paper pack. This is a 12 x 12 paper pack which has 12 designs and 2 sheets of each design along with an extra die cut sheet. The die cut owls are super cute and lovely to use. Along with the box, I made a flip open photo book which can hold 17 pictures and tied them up with a lace ribbon. This photo open measure 3.5 x 3.5 inches and fits perfectly inside the box.

I have bonus project as well today which is a mini fotofolio album which measures 6 x 6 and its trifold album. On the inside of the album, I used one sentiment sheet which has lots of tag elements that can be used.

3 layer explosion box

Hello everyone

Welcome back to my blog and remember to follow..

I have an explosion box video tutorial today using pattern paper Magnolia and coordinating motif sheet from Dress my craft. I made a three-layer explosion box but they can also be single layered or with more layers.

What is an explosion box????
An explosion box is made from sheets of card stock that nest inside each other. When it's folded up and the lid is on top, it looks like a normal gift box. But when you take off the lid the layers “explode” to reveal photos, notes, and other decorations.

I added some handmade flowers and embellishments on the lid and also on the inside of the box. Since the motif sheet has a lot of elements, I fuzzy cut them out and used them in my project. I have some pockets in the outer most layer to add some photos or personal messages.
