Monstrous birthday

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am sharing another birthday card using Fuzzy monster stamp set from Your next stamp. Many know that Your next stamp has shut down and it's my favourite stamp company and I will use their stamps more often. The card is simple with a monster flying out of an envelope with a golden balloon and gifts. I added a sentiment and my card is done. I used Ohuhu markers to colour the image.

The Paper Shelter 13th blog hop celebration

Good Morning lovely crafters!

Welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop, in celebration of The Paper Shelter's 13th Birthday on the 8th of December!  This will be a two week challenge, with both teams taking part, and it's our way of thanking The Paper Shelter for sharing their wonderful images with us, and sponsoring our challenge.

The theme for this special challenge is: CELEBRATIONS

If you've arrived here from Patsy, then you're heading in the right direction!  If not, then you'll want to pop back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, because you don't want to miss out on this one.  Both Design Teams are participating, showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter, and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice, as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

For this year's celebration, I decided to go with a simple and cute card using Incantation. Its such a cute image and works for multiple themes and I made a birthday card. I coloured the image and for the card base, I used pattern papers and come flowers from element sheet. To finish the card, I added the sentiment and some embellishments.

From here, you will need to hop on over to Dewi.  Don't forget to leave your comment for an opportunity to win your choice of one of the fabulous digis available in store!

Good Luck!  Hope you've enjoyed the Hop so far!

Spring birthday

Good Morning fellow crafters and welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop and this is in celebration of their reaching their 10th Birthday on December 8th. It will be a two week Challenge and both Design Teams are taking part.

The Hop is our way of inviting you to join in with us and this one is a  "A  SPECIAL CELEBRATION" theme, which I know is extremely popular!!!! If you have landed here from Lena then you're heading in the right direction - if not then you'll want to head on back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, as you'll not want to miss out on this one! Our Design Teams have worked very hard and are showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter Website and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commentor a digi of their choice as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot.

For my card, I used Wearing Spring image and turned it into a birthday card. The best part about this image is that, it can be used for various themes. I used pink colour of the card and added pattern paper for the background. I used a pre-coloured image from set. All images from The Paper Shelter have pre-coloured images which sometimes makes it easy for projects.

From here you will need to hop on over to Patsy Long:http://craftyafrican.blogspot.com do not forget to leave your comment for a chance of winning your choice of one of the fab digi's available in store.

My card for the hop is using My fantasy pet. I love this image and the collection set that comes along with this. This is my all time favourite image and made a chabby chic card. I coloured the image using pencils and used only two main colours here which are purple and green. I did stick to the colours for the background too, turned it into a chabby chic card. I added some handmade flowers and to finish the card, I added gem stomes and sentiment.

Below are some close up pictures....

The Paper Shelter - Blog Hop

Hello everyone,

First, let me wish 'The Paper Shelter' a happy happy 8th birthday on 8th of December.

The Hop is our way of inviting you to join in with us and this one is a  "BIRTHDAY/ CELEBRATIONS" theme, which I know is extremely popular!!!! If you have landed here from (previous person's blog) then you're heading in the right direction - if not then you'll want to head on back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, as you'll not want to miss out on this one! Our Design Teams have worked very hard and are showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter Website and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commentor a digi of their choice as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot.

My card for our blog hop is here..

I have made a card using TPS image 'Fa-la-la-la-la-la---' image. Its a super cute fun image where we have 3 children image that sing a Christmas carol. But I changed this and made it into a birthday card, where they sing happy birthday. I want this post to show that any stamp/digital images can be used anyway we want.

How I made this cute card:

I coloured and trimmed down the image. I took a card stock and stenciled the background using dye inks from Altenew and added some shimmer to the background. I added a circle glitter foam on the center of the stenciled background and I wanted to add something like a lace. So I die cut 2 border lace and added them to the card. To finish the card, I added some gem stones and a sentiment 'Lets Celebrate You' (didn't want the usual birthday sentiment, hence changed it).

It looks like these children are singing and wishing happy birthday.

Now to our blog hop:
From here you will need to hop on over to (AUDREY). Don't forget to leave your comment for a chance of winning your choice of one of the fab digis available in store.

Study time door hanger

Hello everyone

Wishing you all a very Happy June! With the new month, we have a fun new challenge on the Rainbow Craftykari Blog! This month apart from the challenge, we also have a fun blog hop for you all! Here's a look at the challenge first:

The challenge is all about creating any project on the theme 'Back to School' with the twist of incorporating any school stationery in it!

Today I have created a door hanger 'MY STUDY TIME'. With school starting, new academic year and more to study, I made a door hanger which says 'study time' instead of 'do not disturb'.

I used a MDF door hanger for this project. I adhered printed pattern paper for the background. I die cut 'MY STUDY TIME' alphabets and doily design (cut in half) and added book worm stamp. I added two small books along with a pencil and an eraser. To finish it, I added some butterfly embellishments (new release from rainbow craftykari).

Hope my creation inspires you to play along!

Now coming onto the blog hop fun! Our team has created fantastic projects for you'll to be inspired from! Below is the Blog hop list, click and visit their blogs.
