Mahalo card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Its been a while since I made a scene card using cute images. I decided to make one today using MFT Polynesian paradise and inks from Craftyscrappers. I love craftscrappers inks as they are juicy and work beautifully in blending. I was a part of their team long back and love their products. MFT has always been on my favourite stamp company list when it comes to characters and critters. I wish someday I join their team to create cards.

I wanted a simple beach scene so added a sky, ocean and sand with trees, house and a girl dancing. I stamped and coloured the images and kept them aside and while inking I thought I needed to add a house to one corner. After inking the sky I realised that I forgot to add sun and ended up adding it using alcohol marker. I added some waves and sand particles with alcohol markers and white gel pen. For the house, I used cardstock and inked them. I assembled all the images together to the inked base. After stamping the sentiment, I felt it was looking empty and added some dolphins, boats to the ocean and a shell to the sand.

Dinomite birthday card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Dinosaurs capture the imagination of both kids and adults with their mighty presence and prehistoric charm. If you're looking to design a birthday card that’s both fun and unforgettable, a dinosaur theme is a fantastic choice! To make this themed card, I used stamp from Craftyscrappers - Dinomite birthday. I used almost all the images from the set as I couldnt skip any. It was absolute fun to colour these pre-historic apex predators and turn them into a card.

Nami says hello

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have Nami waving hello today as she sits on a rock peaceful and happy. Its a cute mermaid digi from Sweet November stamps and took inspiration from their site to make this card. I coloured her with pencils and for the background, I did some water colouring on watercolour paper which is 300gsm and works best for water colouring. I just added some birds and palm trees and finished with a sentiment stamped.

Summer beach

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Its super hot here in India and I wish I could jump into the pool and stay there forever. I am waiting for a short vacation some place near the beach and the closest I could get is making this vintage card using Fun and sun from The Paper Shelter. Paper shelter has wonderful digital images and if you haven't checked them out, I suggest you to have a look at the images. Card is super simple and focused fully on the image and just added sea to the background and some birds and a couple of boats. Its a side fold note card and I have a message written on the inside of the card.

Spring garden

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Today's post, I am working with the MFT sketch challenge and made a spring garden scene using stamps from Forest fawns from Hello bluebird. I recently bought a few stamps from Hello bluebird and am loving the designs. So many elements to work with.

I followed the sketch and for the garden, added some die cut grass and added a deer and tree. For the tree, I coloured with pink (like cherry blossom trees). Along with this, I also added a butterfly and using a pink marker added some dots that look like the leaves are falling in spring wind.

Never stop dreaming

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with another cute card using Belle from YamPuff. Its a free colouring image and just click the link and it will take you to download the image. My favourite Disney princess is always Belle and I couldn't stop myself from colouring the image and making a card. I had some dies from Itsy Bitsy with a fence and street lamp and used them along with the grass. Now it looks like Belle is walking, reading her book. For the sentiment, I used never stop dreaming and this time I made it as a postcard.

Roll it up card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am sharing a card I made recently and love how it turned out. Its an interactive card and let's call it a roll up card as I have blinds. The die I used is from Technique Tuesday and for the images, I used adorable adventure from MFT stamps. Its an old die which I never used for a long time and decided to give it a try. I used a lot of pattern paper and adding the die and the images makes a lot of difference. I also have a reel made using this in my Instagram page which you can check out. This card can be made even without the die by just, measuring and scoring and making the blinds.

Gingerbread winter house

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Christams is almost here and its time to start with some winter fun cards. For this card, I used Sweet Christmas stamp from Hello Bluebird and made a fun card. Its a winter card and I had so much fun making this card. I stamped the images and there are tons of them in this stamp set. Gingerbread man images are the cutest here and there is so much to work around with here. I coloured the house, candy cane, trees and other images. I took a white notecard and inked the sky with blue ink and cut another white cardstock for the snow. I stacked up all the images together and then splattered white paint for snow fall. I did not add a sentiment on the front of the card and finished the card as it is.

Always with you

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

This post is about creating a postcard. I remember the days when I used to get postcard from my friends and relatives with a beautiful scenery and I loved receiving them. For my postcard I used Best days from Hello bluebird. Its a beautiful stamp set which has beautiful image of a girl on cycle and dog and cat. I stamped the images first and then created a scene around image. I created a scene like she is riding her bicycle in the park. I didn't add a sentiment here or any embellishments and just focused on image and creating a scene.

Dive in

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I was recently in Phuket for a holiday and despite being terrified of going underwater, I did have fun snorkeling and scuba. This inspired me to make a card using stamps Underwater friends and Underwater scene builder from Avery elle. I love colouring underwater scenes as there is so much of details to add and a lot of elements that can be used.

This is one cute stamp set from Avery elle and mixed two sets here one with the mermaid and the other is a scene builder. The scene is where the mermaid dives in to catch her pet turtle. I used colour pencils and markers to add details. I added seaweeds, small rocks, fishes and some bubbles.

Mini slimline one layer card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Its time for mermay celebration and I have a beautiful image for my card and its Coralia from LeAnns World 101. Its a mini slimline one layer card where I created a underwater scene. the scene making is inspired by a few crafters from Instagram and I always loved how they build up around the image.

I decided to go with this gorgeous image as may is always mermay and I love mermaid images and playing around colouring the images. I first coloured the images and then added the cave with seaweeds hanging and some rocks with moss and the seabed and some fishes in the background. I added some bubbles to finish the card. I didn't add a sentiment to it but left it as it is.

Just say Aloha

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with another card where I created a summer holiday beach scene using markers and colour pencils. Its been a while now since I went on a holiday and I was so frustrated when I realized I had stamps from The greeting farm - Aloha kit. They are old ones but still my favourite when it comes to holiday.

To create a scene, I first stamped and coloured the image with pencils. Then, I took markers and coloured the sand, sea and sky. I added the tiki bar, ship, dolphins and a part of coconut tree. I didn't add any sentiment here and kept the card with the scene. I added this to a side fold note card or you can use this as a postcard. I remember the days when I used to get postcards from relatives and now I can make handmade post cards and will be making a video soon.

Baby card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Of late I am trying to create a scene using stamps I have, especially the ones that have cute images. I selected one such image with a baby in a box and decided to work around the image by creating a cute little scene. The image I am using here is from Tubby craft and the stamp set is called Baby in a box along with a couple of inks. I did a lot of stamping and masking as I had to add toys and make the wall.

First I placed the baby toys and positioned the images and stamped them on white cardstock and on masking paper. I fuzzy cut the masking paper and then stamped baby in a box. I took a pencil and drew the window with curtains, clock and a wall picture, I masked out all the images and mildly inked with Aqua blue ink.  I added a scenery outside the window and then added the curtains. I added some design to the wall paper using blue ink. I coloured all the images and finished the card with a sentiment.

Its a pearl

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

Pearls are known as queen of gemstones. I remember when I got a pearl a while back, I was in a shop in US and the shop keeper told me to choose an oyster and she cut it open in front of me and it was a mild pinkish white pearl. It was so pretty and I cherish it a lot.

I decided to make a card and create an underwater scene using oyster with a pearl from Precious treasure stamp set and sentiment from Best fishes which is from Tubby craft.

I started with first stamping the oyster on white card stock and the same on masking paper.
I did a close fuzzy cut on the masking paper and added that on the stamped image.
I used Aqua blue ink to mildly ink the top of the card stock for the sea and then I added some interest using alcohol markers and pencils.
For the sea bed, I used colour pencils and added some dots using alcohol markers
Using alcohol markers and pencils I added some sea plants and for the seaweed, I used the image from Best fishes and used Lawn green ink to stamp and added interest with pencils.
I added one fish and coloured it. Best fishes has some bubbles too, which I added to the cardstock using Turquoise ink.
I finished the card with a sentiment and added it to a top fold note card.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.

Toothless & Hiccup

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I know there a tons of people like me who love Toothless and his buddy Hiccup. They are the most adorable friends in the animation world. I am very fond of such images as there is a a lot of scope to work around. I worked on the dragon and boy image, there are a lot of other images in this stamp set.

The stamp set I used here is Toothless & Vikings from Craftyscrappers. I tried to create a background with sky and the images standing on mountain cliff for Spring. I know its not perfect but I am trying my best here. I used a mixture of mediums to colour starting with colour pencils, alcohol markers and watercolours to blending solution. It took me a lot of time to make this card and hope you all like it and share it as well.

A cup for two

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am back with a create-a-scene card using Coffee Cuties from Your next stamp. This is a super fun card and perfect for loved ones. I used dies, stencils to make the scene. I made it look like the bunnies are sitting in a garden in a cup enjoying their coffee and its so dreamy with the colourful clouds and the Victorian lamp.

To make the dreamy cloud, I used distress oxide inks - Wilted violet, Picked raspberry and Broken china. I used a cloud stencil to make the background.

I die cut grass and inked with Twisted citron and Lucky clover and for the lamp I used Walnut stain and Frayed burlap. To make the light, I used Spice marmalade. I also added some hearts as well.

After stenciling, I stacked up the die cut pieces together and tucked in the image and finished the card with a sentiment and stones.

Spring sunset card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

For today, I have a card made using Fairytale friends from Your next stamp where I used the deer, rabbit and the mushroom home. For the background, I tried to make a vanilla sky and the sunsetting along the sea. For the background, I used inks from Craftyscrappers and used a make up brush. Make up brush is perfect for adding very mild inks and they also work well for blending.

I love the evening sky, sometime when I look out of the window I can see a beautiful vanilla sky and I used that for my card. For the sea, I wanted it to be a little dark and not exactly blue so I used seaweed shade ink to give a little dark colour to the sea. While inking, I placed a circle die sticker to mask off the sun. Then I used the negative space to add colour to the sun.

I die cut grass and inked them up as well. After keeping all this ready, I stamped the images and cut them out. I assembled all the images together and added sequins and finished with a sentiment.

Mini slimline card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I have a mini slimline card for today's post. To make this card, I used NiHao from Waffle flower and inks from Craftyscrappers. I tried to make a small carnival scene here using the images from the stamp set. This set has a lot of great images like the dragon, a karate guy, lanterns and more. I masked off the lower part of white card stock and inked using blue and violet ink and for the other part, I used brown ink. I spritzed some water to give some textured look. Then I started adding all the images together. I finished with stamping the sentiment and couple of sequins.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed the card.

Mexican camp birthday card

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.

I am here with another card using Hola and Riverside from Waffle flower. I love to stretch stamps and make cards. For my card here, I made a Mexican camp birthday card. I have the cute tent, mountains and clouds from Riverside and Cactus and the Mariachi band playing. I made the scene like the mariachi is singing a birthday song while celebrating birthday camping. The card is very simple and I just added some deco stones to give a little dimension which looks like there are some stones at the base of cactus. To finish the card, I added the sentiment and some dots using white gel pen.
