'Forever young' layout

Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media. 

I am addicted a lot to making layouts by just using elements and today I have a layout made using Forever young from Mintay papers. There are so many elements in the sheet to play with and its so colourful. They have used wonderful colours like pink,yellow and blue for this paper collection. I stuck with these colours to make the layout. 

This pack can be used for multiple themes like birthday, celebration, anniversary, fun carnival and more. When I started with making layouts, I had no idea where to start and how to work about. I started working on them and honestly I ended up making yuck layouts. I figured out that layering elements is the key to creating a good layout. 

I have all the elements fuzzy cut and ready and then I start searching for a pattern paper where I can work on. I choose papers that go along with the elements colours and finally comes the stensils. For mixed media there are tons of stencils and I have none of them but I use what I have in hand. 

Next comes the colours for the base.. I go along with the elements colour and flowers also go with the same colours. I try and make handmade flowers but my laziness gets in between and I end up adding mulberry ones. But here, I decided to use my foamiran flowers, small ones which were perfect for the this layout. To add more to the layout, I added some foliage chippie, stones and decotones.
