Embossed background with dies

Hello everyone,

I am very happy to be making card for Le Anns World 101. I have a new technique here today which is embossed background using dies. I used Flutterby Fairy (link) a beautiful image with a butterfly theme. I love this image so much I finished making the card in 20 mins.

I wanted a butterfly embossed background but I didn't have any such embossing folders. So I die cut butterflies (paper smooches die) and used them as the background. It gives a raised look similar to embossed background.

I coloured and fuzzy cut the image and i cut the bugs separately and pasted them to the background.

For the sentiment I used Dream die cut (peekaboo designs). I cut it with silver cardstock and which foam to give a raised look. To finish the card I added some liquid pearls and pasted them to a plaid pattern paper and to a top fold note card.

I hope you all enjoyed it.

Happy Crafting
