Hop and play card

Hello there,

Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media. 

I got an order to make a card for a little girl as she was awarded for her bravery by the state government. I was so happy to make this card for her and hope she loves it. The image I used here is from LeAnns World 101 and as a DT for LW101, I used this as a card for our current challenge that's happening HERE. 

Image I used here is Georgia Ann and she is an adorable image. I made it shabby chic by using pattern paper, embellishments and flowers. Since I was asked for a bigger card, I made a 5 by 7 card and printed the image accordingly. This is the best part about digital images, we can manipulate it according to our requirement. These images can be used for mixed media, scrap booking and journal pages by reducing the size of the image.I coloured with pencils and added some interest with alcohol markers and white gel pen. 

I added pattern paper and elements from the same paper pack to add to the base of the card. I added embellishments like die cuts, lace, chippies and leaves and flowers along with butterflies and pearls. On the inside of the card, I wrote a message with a sentiment to finish the card.
