Welcome to my blog and follow my work on social media.
Its all about using large slimline stamp set and turn them into a A2 size card. It was real fun to make this card using Ornate mediallions coverplate die and Chrysanthemum slimline stamp set from Pink fresh studio. I used the large flower from slimline stamp set and instead of using the entire image, I trimmed it down and kept the focus on the large flower. For the background, I used a cover plate die and instead of completely embossed the die by using an embossing mat. This gives a good texture to the background. I added the embossed die to a black cardstock and then added the coloured flower to the base. I finished the card with a sentiment and this is a top fold card.

So pretty! Thanks for joining us at Pattie's Creations!
ReplyDeleteI love how you’ve added only a partial image of this very large flower, it’s good to be reminded of techniques like this! I also love the subtler background you’ve achieved using the embossing mat rather that the cutting plate! Thanks for sharing your beautiful card with us at 613 The Avenue Create, I hope we’ll see you again soon!
