Altered MDF board

Hello there,

I am here today with another project for Le Ann's World 101. I have tried something new this time and I did an altered MDF board the size of the board is 9 x 5 inches. The image I used today is Sweet Henrietta. She's a cute girl holding a trumpet and I added some roses and foamiran flowers.

I have also made a video on hoe to make this altered board and will post it in my you tube channel soon (yet to be edited). My cousin who has to edit the video is having his exams and I will upload the video once he is free.

We are celebrating Le Anns first birthday in facebook (LINK HERE). Its so much fun to play and I em enjoying it. I have made this for the occasion as a celebration from my side and also for the weekly challenge.

Moving on to the board, I have used chalk paint for the base. I used the paint on both sides of the board. Then I stenciled the base with shimmer paste and dried it using hot gun. Then, instead of using spray inks I dabbed some dye ink. I added I piece of fuzzy cut floral pattern paper. A base to add the image, I added a piece of corrugated paper and burlap lace. I also sprayed some black ink spray

For the next step, I added some roses and die cut leaves along with foamiran flowers along with some pollens.

Before adding the image, I added an action wobble on the back of the image. Its so adorable to see her wobble. To finish the board, I added a birthday sentiment .

I hope you all liked this work

Floating window card

Hello,

This is my last inspiration post for Craftyscrappers today and its a floating window card using You and me stamp set to make this floating window card. This is a beautiful  card for inspiration and challenge theme 'LOVE'. I wish I could continue sharing more cards everyday here for inspiration.

This is another type of interactive card where when the card opens the images are seen floating between the top and the base of the card.

Its a very simple and clean card with pattern paper and some small heart die cut embellishments.

1. I stamped and fuzzy cut the image. I coloured using non traditional /non valentine colour.
2. I took a card base measuring 51/2 by 6 inches.
3. I trimmed some of the card base in the middle. This will help in creating a floating window.
4. I added some patter paper to the outside and inside of the card,
5. I added the image to the front of the card using tacky glue (or any strong adhesive).
6. I applied glue only to the top and bottom of the image. Leaving the middle free. In this case to the shoes and their head. When the card is open, it shows the window and the image floating.
7. To finish the card, I added sentiment and embellishments.

Thankful embellished cards

Hello there,

I have 2 cards using flower stamps from Altenew - Garden Treasure and Honeybee stamps - Country blooms

For the first card, I stamped using Altenew inks - Cool summer night set and Green fields set on vellum. I have used heavy base vellum so I could heat set before stamping the next layer.

I then fuzzy cut the vellum images and added all of them together on one side of the card base. I added a sentiment and gem stones and finished the card.

For the second card, I tried something different by using circle mdf embellishments. I took 3 sizes of this embellishment (this is mostly used for mixed media work). I held them together using washi tape and stamped the image on the other side of the mdf.

Then I coloured them and added them on a top fold note card and finished the card by adding a sentiment.

Triple fold card

Hello,

I am back with another type of interactive card for Craftyscrappers today and its a triple fold card for Valentine's day. I am using Thinking of you stamp set to make this fold card. This is a beautiful interactive spinner card for loved ones and also for our challenge theme 'LOVE'.

This is a triple fold card made from 12 x 6 inch card stock. I used pattern paper, flower critter sheets and die cut to decorate and embellish the front of the card.

Luckily, the stamp set I used had a lot of sentiments in it and I was able to use them on the inside of card where I added some heart die cuts.

1. I took a cardstock measuring 12 x 6 inches and scored them at 4 inch and 8 inch.
2. I added some pattern paper to the card (12 x 12 pattern paper will suffice to decorate the card)
3. For the front of the card, I added a corrugated piece and piece of lace. To decorate it more, I added some flower and layered die cut. I added a sentiment on top of the die cut and added some embellishments.
4. For the inside of the card, I kept the center free and added heart die cuts to the other sections along with sentiments.
5. I used the cute swing image from thinking of you stamp set and coloured and fuzzy cut. I added this piece of image to the inner center of the card.
6. To finish the card, I added some embellishments.

Chabby chic card

Hi there everyone,

I am here with my favourite card for Craftyscrappers today and its a chabby chic card for Valentine's day. I am using You are so enchanting stamp set to make this chabby card. This is a beautiful card for a girl and also for our challenge theme 'LOVE'.

I used Cinderella image from the set (its an old stamp set and one of the first stamps I bought from Craftyscrappers - Disney princess sets are a must buy).

For this card, I did a lot of die cutting and I used dies from itsy bitsy here, handmade flowers, inking the die cuts and adding laces and borders.

I made this card to show that such cute images can turn into a valentine card.

1. For this card, I used Cinderella image. This stamp set is not a love set but you can turn it into a valentine day card. I coloured the image along with a little mouse and added the image to a circle die cut which I ink using ocean waves ink and kept it ready.
2. I did a lot of die cutting for this card. I used die cuts like window, flowers, leaves and a curved border die.
3. I love to use corrugated paper and burlap lace in such projects.
4. I added some flowers, leaves and embellishments.
5. To finish the card, I added the image and a sentiment from the set. This sentiment is super cute and makes it a different valentine card.

Floral valentine card

Hello,

I am here with a second card for Craftyscrappers today and its a floral card for Valentine's day. I am using Sending hugs stamp set to make this card. This set has lovely solid stamps and leaves with beautiful sentiments. This is another non-traditional valentine card for our challenge theme 'LOVE'.

I have used non traditional colours and did very mild stamping. Since  have already showcased stamp highlighting earlier, I did not want to focus or do it again. So I kept the card very simple and and used sentiment from Thinking of youI also did some die cut in lay for the background.

1. For this card, I used solid stamps from Sending hugs stamp set using non traditional colours and fuzzy cut them.
2. On the card base, I added a circle die and some tea dye distress spray.
3. I added the flowers and leaves along the circle die cut.
4. To finish the card, I added the sentiment and embellishment.

Hello,

I am here today with another card for Craftyscrappers. This is a non traditional love card. I am showcasing some cards where we can use different stamps and turn them into Valentine card. Today I am here with an inspiration post for  Craftyscrappers DT. This is my second card for this month's challenge theme 'LOVE'.

I am using Some fishy loves you stamp set to make this card. To make this card, I used some pattern paper for stamping. I used ombre pattern paper for stamping and did very little highlighting on the fishes along with a glitter foam heart.

1. I stamped the fishes on a pattern paper using versafine black onyx ink. Its a ombre type of pattern paper. I hardly to do some colouring here. Its a different type of stamping I tried here. I fuzzy cut the images here (very closely)
2. I die cut a violet, glitter heart and added the fishes to the die cut.
3. Its a self adhesive foam and it was easy to add this to the card base.

Animal Love valentine card

Hello,

I am super happy and excited to share the news that I am continuing my term for the next 6 months as a creative designer for Craftyscrappers. This time we have a huge DT with 16 members who are amazing crafters.

Today I am here with an inspiration post for  Craftyscrappers DT. Its the first post for this year and we have a new theme for challenge 'LOVE'.

For today's card, I used Lets Shell-abrate stamp along with create a scene stencil. For inking the stencils,  I used Altenew dye inks - ocean waves and frayed leaf. I have made the card look like the turtle is on his skates carrying balloons to his love for Valentine's day.

1. For this card, I used 2 turtles from the stamp set along with balloon, bow and a board skate. I added some glossy accent to the turtle eyes and the balloons.
2. I coloured and closely cut the image. I added the images together.
3. Using create a scene stencil, I added mild clouds and land.
4. I used  a sentiment from the same set and finish with adding embellishments.

I hope you all liked the card.

Floral card

Hello everyone,

For today, I am here with a floral card today for this moth's challenge at The Creative Crafters. For this card, I did loads of die cutting to make flowers and leaves.

I love adding corrugated paper and burlap in such shabby chic card projects. Apart from these, this time I also added some spray paint for the background.

I added some mild inking to the big flowers and leaves. (I am not great in making handmade flowers but still wanted to try them for this card). I made all the flowers and added some flower pearls to the center of the big flower. I assembled all these together to turn it into a card.

To finish the card, I added some pollens and sentiment.

I hope you call like my card. Participate in our monthly challenge and the theme is anything goes.

Card for a fitness friend

Hello there,

I am here with a card for The Paper Shelter (TPS) challenge #370. TPS is a stamp company which provides digital stamps, accessories, pattern paper and much more.

We also have challenge blog where every week we have a different theme for the challenge and these are showcased by 2 teams. And for this week our challenge is "LETTERS OR NUMBERS". While entering the challenge, please remember to stick to the theme.

For today's card, I used image Fitness Buddy and its our new release. Its a cute image where the little dog works out with the girl.

I coloured and cut out the image and added it to a die cut. I then trimmed the die cut and added it to a pattern paper and to a card stock. I used die cut letters for the sentiment. I love this image so much I decided to give it to my friend who is fitness buddy. We both work out together and have an awesome time.

I hope you all liked my card. Do check out our website for more images and also participate in our weekly challenge and get a chance to win great prizes (link for both are available at the beginning of the post).
